کتاب «جدائی دین و دولت، بهترین تضمین آزادی همه دینها و مذهبها – دربارهٔ مفهوم، تاریخ تکامل و چگونگی راه رسیدن به سکولاریسم در ایران» حاصل سالها مطالعه، تأمل و گفتوگو دربارهٔ یکی از بنیادیترین مسائل جامعهٔ ایران است: نسبت دین، دولت و آزادی.
در شرایطی که امکان برگزاری مراسم رونمایی حضوری برای این کتاب فراهم نیست، ترجیح دادهام انتشار آن را نه با یک نشست رسمی، بلکه با دعوتی صمیمی به خواندن، اندیشیدن و نقد کردن همراه کنم. این کتاب بیش از آنکه پاسخی نهایی باشد، تلاشی است برای طرح دقیقتر پرسشها و گشودن افق گفتوگو دربارهٔ سکولاریسم بهعنوان چارچوبی برای تضمین آزادی همگان—چه دیندار و چه غیردیندار.
در این اثر، کوشیدهام با نگاهی تاریخی و تحلیلی، مسیر شکلگیری سکولاریسم در جهان و چالشهای تحقق آن در ایران را بررسی کنم و در عین حال، راهی واقعبینانه، تدریجی و متناسب با شرایط جامعهٔ ایران برای گذار به آن ترسیم نمایم. این مسیر، به باور من، تنها از دل گفتوگو، نقد متقابل و مشارکت فکری جمعی میگذرد.

A Book Unveiling — An Invitation to Dialogue
The book “Separation of Religion and State: The Best Guarantee for Freedom of All Religions and Beliefs – On the Concept, Historical Evolution, and the Path Toward Secularism in Iran” (in Persian) is the result of years of study, reflection, and dialogue on one of the most fundamental issues in Iranian society: the relationship between religion, the state, and freedom.
As it is not possible for me to hold an in-person launch event, I have chosen to introduce this book not through a formal gathering, but by extending an open and sincere invitation to read, reflect, and engage critically. This book is not meant to offer final answers; rather, it is an attempt to formulate more precise questions and to open a space for dialogue about secularism as a framework for guaranteeing freedom for all—believers and non-believers alike.
In this work, I have sought to examine, from both historical and analytical perspectives, the development of secularism in the world and the challenges of its realization in Iran. At the same time, I outline a realistic, gradual, and context-sensitive path toward secularism in Iran. In my view, such a path can only emerge through dialogue, mutual critique, and collective intellectual engagement.
I warmly invite you to read this book, reflect on it, and share your thoughts, critiques, and questions with me. All feedback—whether supportive or critical—is valuable and can contribute to a clearer and more productive discussion.
